Hi guys, I am going to keep this post updated since the only progress on CM12.1 for the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 is on this website: http://en.miui.com/thread-205649-1-1.html

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

• This ROM is still a Work In Progress(WIP) there can be a number of bugs.
• This build is NOT stable enough for daily use.
• This ROM WILL require a device with UNLOCKED bootloader.
• This ROM can ONLY be flashed using a custom recovery like TWRP.
• This build is meant ONLY for experienced users to test out.

BUG STATUS
What works:

• WiFi
• Bluetooth
• GPS
• All sensors
• Notification LED
• USB Debugging
• Soft keys

What DOES NOT work

• Cameras (both front and rear)
• WiFi tethering (hotspot)
• Fingerprint reader                                                                                                                                  

 INSTRUCTIONS

• First time installing CyanogenMod 12.1 to your Redmi Note 3 or coming from MIUI:
• Unlock the bootloader. Head here for latest updates on bootloader unlock: http://en.miui.com/thread-199882-1-1.html
• Flash a custom recovery(TWRP) via any installing methods, just make sure you have TWRP(or any custom revovery) installed.
• Download and transfer the CM 12.1 zip and GApps zip to your device.
• Boot into Recovery.
• Perform factory reset.
• Flash the CM 12.1 and GApps.
• Reboot (be patient, "optimizing apps" takes a while)
• Don't restore system data using Titanium Backup!
